no heart rate detected
I was at the gym the other day, on the elliptical, working off some of my grief. The machine wasn't registering my heart rate and it flashed NO HEART RATE DETECTED. Except I read it as No heart BEAT detected, and I automatically felt a lump in my throat like I might cry. Stupid gym machine. Kind of funny now, I guess, in the way that people who have dead babies can find those things funny.

Ugh there is always something isn't there? Kinda funny to us that "get it" it's that dark humor we have that enables us to survive those times...sometimes we HAVE to laugh because it's been enough of the crying.
